The Monk’s Table’s Mix and Mingle

The Monk’s Table has been a wonderful friend to Centennial.  With the help of their patrons, over $1,800 was raised for Centennial’s programs at their annual Christmas ‘Mix and Mingle’!  We are extremely grateful to The Monk’s Table and their patrons for choosing to support our Centre.

iPads at Centennial!

Recent research at the University of Toronto has demonstrated the value of using iPads with very young children who are challenged with verbal communication.

Centennial was the fortunate recipient of private grants which enabled us to purchase 3 iPads with appropriate apps for our children.  In January, the “iPad Project” was launched!

Introducing Bruno (pictured) to the iPad was a wonderful experience for our staff occupational therapist, the teachers and volunteers…he was immediately engaged and delighted!  The touch tablet has enabled him to communicate, to make choices, and to express himself.

Thank you to our generous donors who have made this possible.
